The VEGA VEGASON S61 is a compact non‑contact ultrasonic level sensor designed for continuous level measurement of liquids and bulk solids in industrial applications. It emits ultrasonic pulses toward the product surface and measures the time until echo reception to determine fill level.
Because this sensor supports measurement ranges up to 5 m for liquids, it is suitable for storage tanks, open basins and process vessels. In addition, it measures bulk solids up to around 2 m in smaller silos or containers.
Not Recommended For:
• Environments where only very short range level measurement is needed
• Gas‑only applications without a clear surface target
